Outline of Annual Research Achievements

In order to realize optimal quality of perovskite film for perovskite-thermoelectric hybrid device, the second solution-growth process has been employed to enhance the quality of perovskite films, resulting in a large crystal grain size, reducing surface trap states and improving stability. Therefore, the power conversion efficiency of perovskite solar cells fabricated by this approach has been promoted up to 21.5% with a highest fill factor of 83.4% in planar normal architecture. Moreover, the thermal and continuous light soaking have also been substantially promoted compared with those of standard solar cells. This work has been successfully published in the journal of ACS Applied Material & Interfaces in this year. Another work of nanoporous Au film electrode perovskite solar cells for recycling metal electrode and reducing noble metal materials consuming has been sucessfully publised in Advanced Science, in this year. Moreover, the studies of hybrid perovskite-thermoelectric hybrid device has been tried to assemble and characterize the performance, however, the studies have not been finised because of the condition of thermoelectric module with carbon past film.

Current Status of Research Progress
Current Status of Research Progress

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.

Reason

I have successful improved the quality of perovskite film and its solar cell devices toward perovskite-thermoelectirc hybrid devices, which are the main reason of above judgement in the current stage. On the other hand, I can also understand the challenges for the hybrid devices. The optical management is requited for the perovskite-thermoelectirc hybrid devices, because the combined layer of perovskite solar cells device and thermoelectic module should be carefully considered.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

In the future, I will try to think the optimization of perovskite solar cells and combination of thermoelectric module, and optical management for the hybrid-devices, continously.
