I was invited to give a paper, "Transcendent Principles and the Violent Sacred," at the "Kant and the Future of Humanity" Conference in June 2019. For this paper to be published, I had to expand and revise it and submit it to the organizers by March 31st. I was able to do this.
I gave a revised version of "Transcendent Principles and the Violent Sacred" at a conference titled, "Imagining the Other: Theo-Political Challenges in an Age of Migration," held in Innsbruck, Austria, from July 10th to the 13th.I was able to engage a number of questions there.Ka
I attended the 日本カント学会 in November 2019.

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
My work last went smoothly. I was able to produce a major paper for the conference in China. I was also able to write another chapter of my book concerning Rousseau's influence on the Transcendental Ideas of Kant. I believe I have discovered some new facts about how Rousseau influenced Kant.

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
This was my last year on this project. I have over 200 pages of manuscript. I am beginning the process of rewriting and putting it together into book form. I will continue this revision and then seek out readers for it. Once it is done I can progress to the other parts of the Kantian system, especially the Critique of the Power of Judgment.

| Causes of Carryover |
I was unable to travel to Norway for the Kant World Congress in November due to a conflict with my class schedule.
