Last year, my project didn't advance much: because of the pandemic situation, I had to cancel all the research travels I had planned, in France as in Tokyo.

3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
The pandemic has prevented me from going on with my research in the pace I had planned. Besides, a couple of academic events I was supposed to take part to have been postponed.

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
Hopefully, I'm planning to spend a couple of months in Paris as soon as the situation gets better. I am still intending to finish writing my HDR thesis and defend it by the end of the project (ie before March 2023).

Due to the pandemic, several research trips and academic events had to be postponed.
