2023年度は主として成果の取りまとめと発表を行った。コロナ禍の影響で開催が延期されていた The Fifth International Conference on Asian Geolinguistics において口頭発表を行った。これはダパ語方言地図を四川省西部の多言語地帯であるチァン言語域に位置づけ、周辺言語との関係を明らかにするものであった。さらに、この内容を会議プロシーディングズにおいて "Variation in basic roots across dialects in nDrapa: Geolinguistic analysis in the Qiangic context" と題した論文の形で発表した。また、中国・西南交通大学・黄陽准教授との共著論文 "A geolinguistic approach to nDrapa dialectology" を発表した。この論文では、この科研費で収集した方言語彙データに基づき、ダパ語における方言連続体の様相を明らかにした。このほか、本科研で得られた知見に基づき、複数の口頭発表を行った。
ダパ語の地理言語学的研究を広域に位置づける研究も進め、Linguistic Atlas of Asia and Africa Volume 3 の共編著を行った。この論集においては、 "Numeral systems in Tibeto-Burman" および "Alignment in Tibeto-Burman" の第一著者、"Alignment in Asia and Africa" の単独著者などの役割を果たした。
さらに、この科研費を含む、これまでの地理言語学に関する研究の知見から、学術誌における特集のイントロダクション "Geolinguistics and Sino-Tibetan: An introduction" を執筆した。
現在、この科研費で得られたダパ語語彙データに基づき、ダパ語方言地図集を執筆中である。
