| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The objectives of this study were: to identify the difficulties faced by international nursing students in performing the tasks required in class as well as during practical training, and to develop educational materials to facilitate their learning at the School of Nursing. Besides conducting an interview survey and questionnaire survey of nursing faculty members, we also interviewed international nursing students. It was found that there is jargon unique to practical training that is reflected in the training materials. The results of the survey indicate that the students had difficulty using the correct terms in relevant situations , which was helpful in developing and re-structuring the training materials.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
支援に役立つ教材を開発することによって、看護を学ぶ留学生が、資格を得て、病院等で看護師として勤務するというキャリアを確実なものにすることにつながる。留学生が看護師として就職することによって、医療従事者の多様性を担保し、増加する日本語を母語としない患者に対する看護の質向上につながる。また、留学生支援のノウハウを蓄積することで、留学生を受け入れることの障壁が低くなり、留学生受け入れに舵を切る大学や専門学校が増えることが予想される。卒業後のキャリアをイメージしやすい看護学部等が選択肢に入ることで、日本を留学先として魅力的に感じてくれる留学生が増えることも予想される。ｌ
