Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
4: Progress in research has been delayed.
Reason
The spread of COVID-19 meant that the collection of data was more limited than anticipated and project members were unable to attend some conferences that had been planned.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
In 2022, now that travel restrictions have eased a little, there are plans for more data to be collected and analysed, and work will continue on the resource to assist workplaces with cross-cultural communication issues.
|
Causes of Carryover |
The 2021 money that was unable to be used due to project members being unable to travel overseas to international conferences will be used in 2022 to purchase further recording/transcription equipment to assist with the analysis of the data. It will also be used for travel to conferences and/or for the collection of further data as the circumstances permit with relation to COVID-19.
