Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The process of data collection ended 2020. Now there are three sets of writing data available and the further analysis process has begun. In General a lot of feedback data and also the data of text-development is at hand, but until now a coherent scheme for the data-interpretation was lacking. Until the end of 2021 steps of data-interpretation are planned. 1. An in depth case study for research paper (the paper is due end of June). 2. The further development of a coding schema as a basis for the strategy inventory. And 3. A coherent display of the research result in a publication. The steps 1 and 2 are being processed at the moment, the coding scheme, also for Point 2 is developing. With the steps 1 and 2 reached a publication in a Routledge World Englishes edition seems to be possible. Some modalities of the publication still have to be resolved.

4: Progress in research has been delayed.
Reason
Delayed is the dissemination process. For 2020 was a presentation at the AILA 2020 (congress of the International Association of Applied Linguistics) in Groningen, Netherlands was planned. Due to the Corona Pandemic the congress was postponed to the year 2021. The presentation will be hold online in the summer of this year. One online presentation (also online) was held at the JALT 2020 congress.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
It is still planned to place the strategy inventory CEFR-informed mediation online. It is still also possible to integrate Video and Audio data from the year 2020, because all data from the ZOOM teachings are available. However, the first priority at the moment is the further development of the coding scheme and the written publications (one research paper and a book). A book-length project would give the opportunity to clarify textual developments in the context of World-Englishes (in Japan).

Causes of Carryover |
Because of the pending book publication, a transfer of the available and not yet spent money to the year 2022 is helpful for a coherent dissemination process.
