Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
This year, we have made a number of achievements relating to the project. We completed the piloting phase of the project, and made several more iterations of the programme in order to improve accuracy. We administered the programme to three groups of users, each with different versions of the programme, offering different approaches to feedback. This allowed us to compare the effectiveness of these differing approaches. We analysed the data from this to evaluate the effectiveness of different feedback types, and we ran statistical analyses to assess the effectiveness of the programme in promoting learner pragmatic development. Following this, we began working on disseminating findings to domestic and international academic communities.
