Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study scrutinizes the anti-dumping provisions incorporated into 320 regional trade agreements ratified since the establishment of the World Trade Organization. The research aims to quantify and illustrate the degree of restriction placed on anti-dumping measures within these agreements, utilizing a novel Anti-dumping Restrictiveness Index. This index serves as a dependent variable, enabling an exploratory analysis of the factors influencing the limitation of anti-dumping measures in regional trade agreements. The findings reveal that the extent of trade liberalization, trade volume, economic disparity among member nations, frequency of anti-dumping measures application, and regional attributes all exert a statistically significant impact.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
