Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In the wider context of world financial history, this project contributes to the burgeoning literature documenting the multiplicity of gold standard management. Originally coined by Keynes (1913), the center-periphery dimension of the gold standard has only recently started to be explored in country-studies The project's development has been very successful. In December 2020, Oxford University Press published a monograph directly related to the research project. Full reference: Schiltz, Michael. 2020.
