Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
During the academic year 2019-2020, the research team has started and carried out the project implementation of phase one: systematic literature review of the study field and initiated the process of phase two implementation: qualitative case study, as foreseen in the research implementation plan in the project proposal, in accordance with the research purpose.
Working papers are in progress for submission to an international conference in the academic year 2020-2021. And if possible, it is to be submitted for publication in an international peer reviewed journal indexed in the database of Social Science Citation Index (SSCI).
To be specific, for systematic literature review, 613 journal articles on the study topic were identified and analyzed, in addition to some industrial reports. On the aspect of contacts for qualitative research, several preliminary approaches have been made for further preparation of data collection.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
The initiation of qualitative case study has encountered some obstacles due to the travel restriction by COVID-19 to stablish contacts and conduct preliminary interviews for pilot study. The team has set some contingent measures to ensure a satisfactory data collection for the project implementation within the period of time limit.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
For future promotion of the project, the team member will continue the communication of the research project in different international conferences and industrial congress. The expected conference participation during summer period is cancelled or turned to virtual. This will limit the promotion of the research project, but we will keep on taking efforts on this regard. In terms of countermeasures, we are pending on whether possible to collect data in an industrial congress in September 2020. Otherwise, we will initiate another contingent plan immediately after getting confirmation of the travel restriction by the time.
|
Causes of Carryover |
Due to the restriction of travel because of the unexpected COVID-19 event, some trip was cancelled and the total cost was less than expected. The research team has adjusted the plan for the current fiscal year and take COVID-19 into consideration. The incurring amount will be important for the continuous implementation of the project.
