Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Regarding the research purpose and implementation, we continue with the proposed research framework, tackling the interactive effects of culture at different levels and innovation of different dimensions. With the difficulty in collecting qualitative data due to the COVID-19, we have adjusted the data collection of qualitative case study with interviews complemented with secondary archival data for the analysis. For survey study, 183 samples were collected and currently are in the process of analysis, focusing on the cultural construct effects. The literature review has resulted a manuscript which has been presented in three international conferences with positive feedback, and it is also accepted to present in two forthcoming international conferences. Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
Following the status of slightly delayed since the early period of the project implementation due to the commence of COVID-19, the overall project progress is in the situation of recovering the research speed. Therefore, we requested an extension of one year for the accomplishment of the project. We expect to finish the overall project implementation with this additional one year extension for the project.
As the expected outcomes of the initial plan to have at least one research paper presented in an internationally reputed conference and one submitted to a SSCI journal, we have already done the first part, and consider it is feasible to fulfill the second part in the remaining extended year.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
For the next step of research implementation, we have adjusted the research strategy in the data collection process and focus to make the implementation feasible. In addition, we have invited the field expert JC Spender to give specific advices on the research and publication strategy. We trust that this step of advisory will be important for our final project accomplishment with significant research outcomes.

Causes of Carryover |
The plan is to utilize the remaining fund mainly for the advisory service, research assistance, and language editing service for the corresponding research, analysis and publication strategy, assistance, and manuscript refinement.
