| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This was a study of Amrican cities, especially of big cities like NY and SF, after COVID-19. I could find out the following facts:1) their population recorded minus and emptyness expanded due to prevailing remort-work,2) however, new hight-tec industries (AI, bio, IT) are leading them to be reborn.Also, the suburbs outside these big cites are making a new type of suburban downtown.

都市は経済、社会、文化活動の主要舞台である。したがってCOVID-19が「都市の「かたち」」をどのように変えるか、それを明かにすることは喫緊の課題になっていた。
アメリカの大都市は常々、時代に先行し、時代を牽引して変容し続けている。したがってアメリカ都市の変化を明らかにできた意義は大きい。
