Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study clarified the inclusive curriculum for chinldren with special needs in regular school in a comparative study between Japan and Europian countries. The results are that in a inclusive curriculum, there needs not only special support for child's needs but also school developments for daily lessons in regular class.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

これまで特別支援教育では、特別なニーズのある子どもに対する支援方法を検討することが中心であったが、本研究により、インクルーシブ・カリキュラムでは通常学校の授業改善や教育的価値の転換が求められることが明らかになった。この知見は今後、日本が国際的にインクルージョンを進めていく際の基本原理となり、これが本研究の社会的意義であると考える。
