Outline of Final Research Achievements |
There are high expectations for the effectiveness of curriculum management for improving teaching. Although, there is a situation in which a concrete image of the activity had not been grasped. This study clarified that the key factors of effective curriculum management are (1) the principal recognize the significance and value of curriculum management, (2) middle leaders concretize the school vision, (3) link it into practice, and (4) to secure learning opportunities that promote teachers' understanding and to secure time for teachers to exchange practices with each other as an organizational management. According to these results, we have been developing and enhancing in-house training (workshops/seminars) for designing classes from a cross-subject perspective, as well as for organizational management for school managers/leaders and middle-leaders of the schools.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究は、学問研究の基盤に立ちつつ、教育現場の実情を踏まえた新たなカリキュラム・マネジメント能力開発システムの構築を目指すものである。カリキュラム・マネジメントに対する教員の意識調査を始め、実践方法や研修内容等に関する国内外での学校訪問調査等を丁寧に行い、その成果を踏まえて、個々の教師のカリキュラム・マネジメント能力開発に向けた研修モデルの開発を目指す。また、社会的使命として、研究のプロセスや成果・課題等については、学会発表、論文発表、書籍のほか、協働する学校や教育委員会とともにアウトプットを図り、児童生徒の資質・能力を育成する教育の実現を支援する知見を提供していく。
