Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In order to expand the support system for students with disabilities in higher education institutions more effectively, it is necessary to discuss based on the background and organization of each university. The purpose of this study is to make proposals that will lead to the expansion of the support system by comparing and analyzing the support systems for students with disabilities at multiple universities and organizing them together with the flow of support coordination at each university. As a result of research focusing on the process up to the implementation of support, it became clear that the number of students and the system for authorizing support tend to be linked. And it can be pointed out that distinguishing and linking the daily support implementation function and the university policy-making function is effective as a mean for systematic support.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
近年、わが国の多くの高等教育機関では障害のある学生(障害学生)への修学支援が急務とされており、国立大学を中心に支援体制が整備され「合理的配慮」が実施されている。全国的にも支援体制の構築や支援ノウハウの共有を目指す動きがあるものの、実効的な提案につなげるためには大学の置かれた背景や組織立てを踏まえた議論が必要である。本研究ではこれらの背景を踏まえ、複数大学の支援体制の比較分析を行うことで、各大学の特徴を踏まえた支援体制整備のポイントの提案を目指したことに意義があると考える。本研究は、実践研究としての意味合いが強いことから、研究成果の支援現場への還元という点でも貢献度は高いと考える。
