Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
This project has achieved its original objectives. I am finishing a special issue of the international journal 'Comparative Education' on 'The Politics of Education on China's Periphery', featuring work by leading experts on education and identity politics in contemporary Xinjiang, Tibet and Inner Mongolia, as well as my work on Hong Kong and on marginalised communities in mainland China. This will be published in early 2024. I have also made substantial progress on the manuscript of my book, 'Empire in Denial', to be published in 2024.
