Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The living environment surrounding children has been changing drastically with the rapid spread of ICT (Information Communication Technology). In an environment where ICT is becoming increasingly diverse and universal, we believed that an app equipped with cognitive-behavioral therapy principles could facilitate parent-child communication. An app user interface and feedback function were included in the app "Mugimaru" developed in 2019. The app was implemented to 259 volunteer middle and high school students for a period of 2-4 weeks. Machine learning (AI) results revealed that the input of specific words ("lost," "shout," "play") was associated with children's depression scale.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
