Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study was to identify ways in which nursery school teachers, kindergarten teachers, and elementary school teachers can maintain a continuity of practice related to transitional education goals, curricula, and teaching methods in training programs organized by local governments. The results indicated that the training functions and innovations differed among local governments, and that training innovations were implemented to address the difficulties inherent in training for the collaboration and connection between ECEC settings and elementary schools.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
研究成果の意義としては、主に以下の2点が挙げられる。第一に、保幼小連携に複数の関係者が関与することで、子どもが多様性をもつ環境の中で育つことを示唆した点である。第二に、園と学校が相互に公開参観して対話する、地域の小学校の教員の紹介や教室・体育館などの環境の説明を画像や動画を用いてオンラインで伝える、幼児と児童が休み時間にオンラインで会話をする等のオンラインを通した保幼小連携の取り組みの可能性を示したことである。
