Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this research, several new learning materials were developed using CS (Computer Science) unplugged way of thinking in order to understand a basis of information technology easily in the basic education of informatics.
Specifically, the CS unplugged learning materials learned about "Public Key Cryptography (can learn about the nature of dual keys)", "Interrupt Processing in Computers", "Authentication Technology in Information Systems".

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

本研究では、これまでに「コンピュータウイルスの波及と防御」、「オペレーティングシステムの記憶管理」、「オペレーティングシステムのタスク管理」、「LANのメディアアクセス制御方式」について学習するCSアンプラグド教材を開発し公表して来た。今回、新たに開発した3つの教材は、より実現が困難であった学習テーマや近年の情報技術に関する内容を採り上げ実現したという点で学術的進歩があったと考えている。
