Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we constructed the system to accumulate the log of learners' manipulating mathematical content generated by dynamic geometry software and dialogue records when they engage in collaborative learning by manipulating mathematical model, and we tried to analyze the data to elucidate their thinking processes. We developed mathematical content related to calculus, elementary geometry, and mathematical statistics, and experimental studies were conducted with college students as participants. We examined the content operation logs, textual content of utterances, and the quantity of utterances to identify distinctive situations that suggest correlations with thought processes.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
