Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Ignition and combustion characteristics of hydrazine derivatives blends / dinitrogentetroxide bipropellants have been theoretically investigated by using detailed chemical kinetis model developed based on the quantum chemical and statistical mechanics calculations. The ignition delay time of hydrazine / unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine blend fuels with O2 were decreased from linear interpolation between each pure fuels, due to the mutual interference of chain reaction systems via NH radical.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究の成果により,ヒドラジン誘導体混合燃料の燃焼に関する詳細反応モデルが構築された.この反応モデルは,非対称ジメチルヒドラジンの酸素燃焼反応の高温着火遅れ時間の既往の実験計測値を良く再現し,混合燃料の着火特性の混合比依存の予測が可能であることが確認された。本モデルを使用することにより,ヒドラジン誘導体混合燃料を推進剤としたスラスター設計,開発の効率化が期待される。
