Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we developed a power assist system that applies inherently safe control. In inherently safe control, a safe balanced state is defined as a basic state, and the actuator operates only to restore the collapsed balanced state, thereby achieving objective control. The developed power-assisted cart that moves the cart with the same amount of human power, regardless of the angle of inclination, by using a motor to assist only the amount of load that increases as the angle of inclination increases when going uphill. Furthermore, we applied the power assist system to a wheelchair for assistance, and confirmed its basic operation through an evaluation experiments of a prototype.

人間との共存が必要となる機械に対しては、人間の本質安全構造に基づいた制御により本質安全要求に応えることができるという考えに基づいた本質安全制御の一実装方法を確立した。そして、それを適用したパワーアシスト台車を開発し、有効性を示した。このシステムは安全性の高いパワーアシストシステムとして、様々な人間機械系に適用できる可能性を有している。
