Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Perovskite solar cells (PVs), which feature promising high efficiency are attracting the attentions of academia and industry. Our research purpose, using our original “Reactive Polyiodide Melt” (RPM) method (I. Turkevych, S. Kazaoui, et al. Nature Nanotechnology, 14 (1), 57 (2019)), is to explore Pb-free materials for solar cells (PVs).

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
Progress are in accordance with our research plan. By using the RPM approach, I synthesized and investigated by XRD MASnI3, which can be made by reacting Sn metal with MAI in gas phase (study is in progress). We also investigated Bi-Ag-I2 compounds made by reacting Bi-Ag metals with I2 gas, and fabricated solar cells (study published in JJAP, 2021).
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
1st, we will complete the study on MASnI3 synthesized the PRM method (manuscript to be submitted).
2nd, we will investigate a broader range of transitions metal in accordance with our research plan.
|
Causes of Carryover |
The incurring amount will be used according to our research plan and Kakenhi's rules.
