Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We conducted RNA-seq anaysis in Queens and Workers. GO analysis revealed that decrease of gene expression in energy metabolism and increase of gene expression in beta-oxidation induce the extension of longevity in Queens. Furthermore, we identified genes of juvenile hormone receptors, Methoprene tolerant and Steroid receptor co-activator in honeybees.
