| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
We performed two series of carbon-ion irradiations at HIMAC in July and December 2019. Chondrosarcoma cells were treated with Olaparib, Velaparib and/or a mimic for miR-145. RNA and protein samples were collected and flow cytometry experiments were performed. RNA-Seq analysis was performed in January 2020. Preliminary experiments in lower oxygen concentration (physioxia) were also performed. A first manuscript was submitted for publication and is under revision.

Reason
Initial experiments were performed smoothly in FY2019, however due to COVID-19, irradiation at HIMAC is stopped until further notice.

We will put the plan temporarily on hold in FY2020 because I am leaving OIST.
