Outline of Final Research Achievements

Anorexia nervosa (AN) is characterized by disturbed perception of body shape, intense fear of gaining weight, and restricted energy intake, leading to significantly low body weight with high mortality rates. This study aimed to investigate molecular alterations with weight recovery using positron emission tomography in underweight AN, weight-recovered AN, and healthy controls.

低体重のAN患者と体重が回復したAN患者、健常者にPETで測定した脳内分子病態について、筆頭発表者として第41回日本精神神経学会学術総会（2019年）、第42回日本神経科学会（2019年）、第43回日本神経科学会（2020年）、BRAIN & BRAIN PET（2019年）、第117回日本精神神経学会学術総会（2021年）、第44回日本生物学的精神医学会（2022年）などで発表し、筆頭著者として国際雑誌のMol Psychiatry（2021年）に発表した。
