Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

脊髄虚血再還流障害に伴う脊髄障害回避のための研究は必須であり本研究は非常に重要と考えるが今回の研究は不本意な結果となりモデルの確立に至らなかった。しかしながら今後も本分野の研究を継続していくことは非常に重要である。しかしながらマウスSCIモデルを使った研究報告は少なくその理由は今回の我々が行ったようにモデルの安定性が得られないことが原因であったと推察された。やむなく今後はラットモデルへ変更していくことを目下模索中ある。
