This study investigates how to infer the spatio-temporal distribution of physical quantities with discontinuity. It assumes that we obtain the observational data at several locations and, using the observational data, we determine the distribution of the physical quantities.

気象データなど,場所によっては観測値が得られないケースは多い.そのような状況において,本研究は,観測可能な場所での観測値に基づき,観測できないが必要な箇所での量を推定することができる.とくに,気圧分布などのように,物理量が場所によっては急激に変化するものに対しても有効に働くため実用性が高い.
