Outline of Final Research Achievements

A method of evaluation qualities of teams has been developed based on a mathematical model. With this method, group work teams are evaluated from a viewpoint of how each member must engage the task by proving own abilities to achieve the goal. A supporting system to generate a desirable group set based on the proposed method.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

本提案課題の学術的な特色は，領域横断型PBL授業の評価を，活動記録や成果物だけではなくチームワークという視点からも行う点にある．一般的なPBL演習授業では，活動に対するフィードバックは，外部からのグループ活動の観察や，提出された成果物などで行われている．しかしながら，エンジニアリングデザイン教育が目指す「自己効力感（self-efficacy）」の育成を考えたとき，このような他者観察（＝外部観測）によるフィードバックには限界があると考えられる．本課題で提案する方法は，各メンバーの能力や知識に基づいてチーム構成の質を評価するアプローチを取る点に学術的な意義がある．
