Outline of Final Research Achievements |
There was a slight revision on the research plan due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but I was able to make progress on the research on the musical exchange between Japan and the U.S. I have published one book, edited one book and contributed chapters and articles on four books. I have also delivered eight presentations during the research period including five at international conferences. In 2020, I was appointed as a visiting scholar at Harvard-Yenching Institute, where I had the opportunity to interact online with many researchers in Asia, and to make a presentation on the historical exchange of music culture in Japan and the U.S.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
