Outline of Final Research Achievements

(1)Creation of a booklet of guidelines for landscape-friendly bicycle parking at tourist facilities (based on examples in Kyoto City)/Clarified the ``ideal landscape-friendly bicycle parking environment'' and created guidelines for installation.This paper showed what kind of design would create a bicycle parking environment that takes the landscape into consideration at a tourist base.
(2)A survey of the current status of temples and shrines in Kyoto City and its evaluation were disseminated/We disseminated the city's approach based on its basic philosophy of ``a world-class bicycle coexistence city'' and ``new landscape policy,'' as well as an evaluation by researchers.
(3)Case study on creating landscapes with bicycles/Understanding examples of excellent bicycle parking environment development from a survey of the current state of cycle stations in Europe and Japan. Proposal using manufacturer's product examples. A landscape-friendly bicycle parking lot has been created.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

全国でコロナ後にインバウンドで観光地は多くの来訪者を迎えている。その中で自転車により観光を行う層が存在する。京都市はその中でも多くの寺社仏閣が観光対象として、自転車での観光者を受け入れている。現状は駐車場の一部に駐輪施設があるなど、明確な景観配慮について検討されることがなかった。今回は、景観行政先進地域でもあり自転車利用環境整備が日本の中でもトップクラスに進む京都市を事例に、「観光施設における景観配慮型駐輪場ガイドライン」を作成することで、全国の観光拠点での駐輪施設整備にも参考になる。また、ケースに応じた提案では、メーカーの参考製品を具体的に示すことで、よりリアリティをもつ提案となっている。
