Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
From a theoretical point of view, the results of my research on trauma led to formulate, in continuity and discontinuity with Michel Foucault, the thesis of an “End of the clinic”. This thesis is an important contribution to the field and was published in the journal "Philosophy World Democracy".
From a practical point of view, 30+ volunteers and 20 mental health professionals residing in Japan have been trained in Psychological First Aid. As of March 31 2022, 50+ first responders in PFA have been trained.
The Cov-Care survey assessing the traumatic impact of the current pandemic on mental health professionals and their patients, is also a survey about the transformations of clinical practices. Results have been analyzed and articles finalized for submission in Spring 2022.
