Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research study focused on the Gothic art that flourished in Germany and Austria during the 14th and 15th centuries sanctioned by royal authority, such as the Holy Roman Emperor. Church architecture was at the core of this study, and the sculptures, stained glass windows, and so on, were comprehensively examined and analyzed. This study highlighted the traditional and innovative aspects of the representation of royal authority. Further, the process of modifying the influences from France, the birthplace of Gothic architecture in the European Middle Ages, was revealed.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
