I confirmed Chigo Kinjo’s manuscript by modern copyist of Chigo Kanjo Iwata Junitsi (1900-1945) & investigated medieval learned monk Sonei.Moreover, I considered fusion of medieval discourse " Shaku -byaku -Nitai" and Zen, ＆ published a dissertation " A note about Tainai -Kuketsu”("Josetsu" no.47, 2020).
Summarizing these results, I published " Studies of Chigo Kanjo" (Hozokan,2021)/

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
児灌頂は、中世の天台寺院で稚児を対象にして行われたと伝えられる密教儀礼であるが、その実態は長らく一般に知られることなく、今東光の小説「稚児」を通して、時に誤解をも含んで語られてきた。そこで本研究では、児灌頂伝本の一次資料による基礎研究を進め、児灌頂の構造と流伝の実態を明らかにし、従来、言及されることのなかった児灌頂の新たな面を提示した。
