My paper “Competitive Equilibria in Matching Models with Financial Constraints” coauthored with P. Jean-Jacques Herings (Maastricht U) is accepted to be published in the International Economic Review. I also publish additional two working papers: Crowding in School Choice and Equilibria in Matching Markets with Soft and Hard Liquidity Constraints. Due to the pandemic of covid-19, I presented my research in virtual international conferences: The 48th Annual Conference of the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics; 2021 EEA-ESEM Meeting of the Econometric Society; 2021 China Meeting of the Econometric Society; Asian Meeting of the Econometric Society; 2021 North American Summer Meeting of the Econometric Society.

Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
The theoretical part of this project goes on well. In particular, the paper that is accepted for publication at International Economic Review is one of main research outputs of this project. Also I have completed two other working papers, which have the potential to be published in peer-reviewed international leading journals as well. Due to the pandemic of covid-19, we cannot do any experiments in 2021. On the other hand, we make all preparations for the experiment.

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
In this year, I am going to publish one or two more papers in the top international peer-reviewed journals. Moreover, there are several follow-up works of my current research, which I expect to complete all of them this year.
Due to the pandemic of covid-19, there is some uncertainty about the experiments. I have prepared all the programming for the experiments, and I am planning to conduct experiments in September, October, and November. Definitely, I will follow the government’s instruction of the prevention of pandemic of covid-19.

| Causes of Carryover |
Due to the pandemic of covid-19, some international conferences are delayed to 2021. I did not attend any face-to-face conferences, and also conducting face-to-face experiments are not allowed in 2021. With vaccination, we have the chance to conduct experiments this year. I am also going to present my research in the international conferences that are to be held in person. I will also visit some universities in Europe to promote our joint research.
