Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
On one hand, I have published the preprint of the manuscript and submitted the article to the journal. On the other hand, however, I could not participate in the conferences as originally intended due to the fact that most of them were cancelled or postponed due to the impact of the COVID-19. With that in mind, I will participate in the originally postponed conferences in the online format during 2021 (see "Plans for the Research Scheme").

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
1. Presenting the paper "Market Valuation of Corporate Technological Assets: The Case of Japan's Institutional Adaptability" at the 34th Annual Meeting of the Association of Japanese Business Studies (AJBS), June 24-25, 2021. 2. Presenting the paper "Market Valuation of Corporate Technological Assets: The Case of Japan's Institutional Adaptability" at the Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics (SASE) Conference, July 2-5, 2021. 3. Participating in the mentoring session (track for researchers) at the 34th Annual Meeting of the Association of Japanese Business Studies (AJBS), Chuo University (Tokyo), September 18-19, 2021. 4. Preparing the manuscript on the "relationship of non-regular employment and innovative outputs at the listed Japanese enterprises" and submitting it to a journal.

Causes of Carryover |
I could not use the Kakenhi last year due to the fact that all conferences that I was intending to participate in were mostly postponed to the next year.
1. Conference participation fee. 2. Purchase of research equipment. 3. Subscription to scientific journals and databases.
