Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Educational practices oriented toward regional human resource development have been promoted, mainly at regional universities. Although these practices have produced high educational effects, the study of these effects has only focused on the short-term ones affecting the current students’ learning outcomes. This study aimed to examine the medium- and long-term educational effects of university education for local human resource development on local activities after graduation by expanding the scope of investigation to include graduates. A follow-up survey was conducted on 148 individuals who had studied regional human resource development at a local public university and had graduated. The results suggest that the university’s regional human resource development education has impacted their post-graduation work and overall life.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
