Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study investigated and organized the psychological characteristics and related factors of graduate students and young researchers. Interviews with those who had experienced a master's degree program indicated the possibility that they consider whether to "make a living doing research" when deciding to enter a doctoral program. Data from major journals in the field of psychology revealed that the number of original research papers has been decreasing over the past 15 years. An online survey explored whether mental health differs depending on whether one with postgraduate experience or not, and found that those with postgraduate experience were more depressed but also more satisfied with their lives.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
