Outline of Final Research Achievements

As a result of this study, in examining the psychosocial factors that determine the psychological intervention skills of recidivism prevention practitioner, a scale of supervisors' conflicts in recidivism/re-delinquency prevention implementation was developed, consisting of four factors: feelings of discomfort with the subject, dissatisfaction with work environment, unfairness of work treatment, and intrusive experiences in one's own life. Using the developed scale, an analysis of psychosocial factors affecting instructors' efficacy in performing their skills indicated that helping norms, self-compassion, and instructors' conflicts were influential. Based on these results, we developed a training method that combines CBT knowledge teaching with self-management. Data will be collected and examined to verify the effectiveness of this method.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
