Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
1 Synthesizing works: Nine Glasses of various chemical compositions were synthesized in last year. Belite and Alite are also synthesizing in Beijing. 2 A paper "A study of the influence of crystal component on the reactivity of low-calcium fly ash in alkaline conditions based on SEM-EDS" has been published in Construction and Building Materials.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
4: Progress in research has been delayed.
Reason
The synthesized works are delayed due to the COVID-19 since last year. The salt water immersion tests was also delayed since campus is closed.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
We are revising the experiment plans on synthesizing glass and cement considering COVID-19. The number and amount of glassed may be a little reduced. Other SCMs, like silica fume or metakaolin will be used to replace some of the glasses. The steady-diffusion test and salt water immersion test will be conducted immediately after the re-opening campus.
