Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Highly accurate genomic information is essential for the comparative epigenomic analysis. Therefore, in this study, I established experimental methods and data analysis pipeline for de novo genome assembly using cultivated rice and wild rice species. Based on the obtained genomic information, the comparative analysis of gene expression patterns and epigenomic patterns among species was performed.

本研究で取得したゲノム配列およびアノテーション情報はこれまでに公開されている情報に比べて高精度であり比較ゲノム研究に広く活用可能である。また、雑種強勢を示す種間におけるエピゲノムおよび発現解析は雑種強勢の分子基盤の理解に貢献し、新規育種マーカーの創出につながると期待される。
