Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
I successfully established the sleep-dependent transitive inference behavior paradigm as a model for creative problem solving. Moreover, I identified the brain region (Anterior cingulate cortex, ACC) which is necessary for the emergence of the correct inference. Furthermore, I defined the brain circuit which is sufficient to inspire inference during sleep after insufficient training. Moreover, I have investigated the neuronal dynamic mechanism of the emergence of inference during sleep by Ca2+ imaging technique. We identified group of neurons, activated during sleep, that represents the inferred information. Currently, I am writing the manuscript for publication.
