Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We established Trpv6 conditional knockout mouse. This mouse did not develop pancreatitis under normal condition, but administration of caerulein resulted in exacerbation of pancreatitis. We also identified new TRPV6 mutations in early-onset idiopathic pancreatitis. We constructed expression vectors of these mutants for future functional assay. We started to establish Trpv6 mutation knock-in mouse for further analysis.
