Outline of Annual Research Achievements

Using the developed high-precision automated workflow for urinary untargeted metabolomics three high quality datasets have been obtained. Chemical libraries, tools and workflow needed for cohort scale untargeted metabolomics data processing and analyses have been published.

1. Several hundred metabolites have been annotated including primary metabolites such as amino acids and derivatives as well as exogenous compounds such as drugs, sweeteners and pesticides.
2. Preliminary results show acyl-carnitines shifts and differences between asthmatics and healthy controls.

Data processing and integrative analysis of longitudinal data is still ongoing.
