Outline of Final Research Achievements |
It has been reported that fibrotic liver promotes liver metastasis of colorectal cancer, and this time, we focused on Lgr5-positive cells, which are cancer stem cells of colorectal cancer. Colorectal cancer cell lines with high Lgr5 expression promote liver metastasis in fibrotic liver more than cell lines with low Lgr5 expression, and Rspondin, a ligand for Lgr5, is more highly expressed in fibrotic liver. Was shown. When Rspondin was added to cell lines with high Lgr5 expression and cell lines with low expression of Lgr5 and cultured, cell proliferation was promoted in cell lines with high Lgr5 expression, and Rspondin in fibrotic liver had some effect on Lgr5-positive cells. It was considered that liver metastasis may be promoted by giving.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
