Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Dry eye is chronic ocular disease showing many symptoms like ocular dryness sensation, pain, fatigue and visual disturbance. A part of the symptoms in some patients are recently reported to involve the dysfunction of central nervous system. In present study, we showed that chronic ocular dryness changes expression of glial markers and inflammatory molecules in mouse spinal trigeminal nucleus.
