Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This year, we analyzed how various cell proliferation modifiers affect tooth development using mice suitable for research on tooth development. As a result, it was found that specific tooth hypoplasia is caused not only in the sample treated with chemotherapy having an inhibitory effect on cell proliferation but also in the activation and inactivation of the retinoic acid signal pathway essential for maxillofacial formation.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
