Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The aim of this project is to assess seasonal variation in mortality systematically and to explore how it may be impacted by ambient temperature under climate change, by utilising sophisticated statistical models to analyse time series daily mortality data from multiple countries around the world. In 2020, I finished data analysis and prepared three research papers. In 2021, these papers have been accepted. Then I have summarised statistical methods of this project into a tutorial paper and submitted to an international journal. Meanwhile, I have presented the outputs of this project at international online seminars and conferences.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
Due to the pandemic, the review process of my research papers has been delayed. Therefore, the publication has been delayed for a long time.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
1. Summarise the progress so far with collaborators and explore the potential topics for the next collaboration 2. Attend conferences and seminars to share the outputs from this project
|
Causes of Carryover |
Due to the pandemic, the review and publication process of my research papers from this project have been delayed. Therefore, the remaining budget will mostly be used for article process fees.
