Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
We were able to analyze qualitative data (nationwide data on Ebola-KAP during the peak phase) and we published one article in a peer-reviewed journal. In addition, we presented our work at the 79th annual meeting of Japanese Society of Public Health conference in 2020.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2020 we were unable to conduct surveys of Ebola-KAP in two regional blocks (Kongo central and Katanga) after the outbreak peak (to assess the public confidence in the health system) as previously planned.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
2021: Quantitative data cleansing and analysis along with writing a manuscript. Conduct surveys of Ebola- KAP after the outbreak peak to assess the public confidence in the health system after the Ebola outbreak peak in 5 regional blocks (Kongo central, Katanga, Kasai, Kivu, and Kisangani).
|
Causes of Carryover |
Honorarium for data cleansers (double checking data); honorarium for data collectors in Kisangani, Katanga, and Kasai for "Post-Ebola KAP"; and article publishing charge for our next manuscript.
